Beer Brewing Videos on the Web

Me and my roomy are trying to start a beer brewing project soon, and that inspired me to find some beer brewing videos out on the web.

  • How to Brew Beer Presented by Lake House Brewing Co. The quality is shoddy but it contains a good information.

  • How to Brew Beer with Joe Nguyen - This video is aimed at the home brewers:

  • The Result of a Homebrew Yeast Starter - Digs a little deeper into home brewing:

  • Good Eats "Amber Waves" Episode - Goodle video hosts the beer brewing episode of Alton Brown's show, Good Eats.

I'm in lovecraft

And while I'm on the topic of hot brainiac babes (last post)... I came across this video on the Table of Malcontents. Quoting the blog article:

With an ankh hanging around her neck, butt-length hair brushed a thousand times and a prim mouth set in grim academic determination, graduate student Laura Campbell goes on the British quiz show Mastermind and completely owns her chosen subject: the literature of H.P. Frickin' Lovecraft.

Honest to god, the only way this could be sexier is if Laura was wearing a bikini made out of tentacles.

Winnie Cooper is a math geek.

I had been meaning to get to the bottom of a rumor that comes up now and then in the graduate school hallways, that being that our childhood sweetheart Danica McKellar, a.k.a Winnie Cooper on the ABC series The Wonder Years, is quite the math geek and has even published in a peer reviewed journal. Here is a copy of that journal article. She's even coming out with a popular-math book geared toward middle school girls (more info on her website). As if she wasn't hot enough, Danica McKellar just got hotter.
